In collaboration with the Grand Prix of Art Steveston, an annual plein air painting challenge and art exhibition that takes place along Steveston’s historic waterfront, and Richmond’s Public Art Program, “the work of Sichen Grace Chen, D.F. Gray, and Scott Pleydell-Pearce has been digitally reproduced and installed in the large, backlit display cases at the base of three concrete support columns located along No. 3 road.”

The installation was on view from February 1 to July 31, 2025, at the Lansdowne Station.

Artist Statement
"These reproductions of plein air paintings in watercolour, gouache, and pencil crayon explore Richmond's quiet and energetic moments. Embodying atmosphere and colour, these paintings invite viewers to reflect and savour beautiful everyday landscapes."
